I looooove this sketch by Andrew Robinson (I'd link directly to it but I don't recall where I saw/got it..)

So I tried to 'paint' it in artrage on the iPad..
and managed to suck all the charm out of it.. Ah well.. We live and learn..

So... I'm thinking of going over to both Lucca in October and Angouleme in January for the respective comic fests.

Anyone make any recommendations?

over the weekend I completed the audio commentary extras for my issues of red plains, and received my signed and remarked copy of Iain McCaig's shadowline book.. both of which have put me in the mood to draw again..

I wish I were a hybrid child of McCaig and Clare Wendling.. with Stuart Immonen, Duncan Fegredo, Marcos Mateu and Corrado Mastuantono as my mad uncles..

that would be some after christmas dinner game of pictionary..
